GTAC@MGI
The following policies outline how GTAC@MGI sets service rates and bills for completed services.
The McDonnell Genome Institute sets service rates for the WashU research community and beyond such that all labor, reagents, and annual costs associated with a particular service are recovered. For most processes, the GTAC@MGI provides all necessary reagents and labor. Exceptions do apply where certain components of a process (i.e. reagents) are provided directly by the investigator.
GTAC@MGI reserves the right to change service rates when necessary, but makes every attempt to provide as much advanced notice as possible. Rates are evaluated at least quarterly by MGI personnel.
All service fees are billed through the MGI administrative office on a monthly basis for work completed within the month prior. Adhering to NIH regulations, the MGI cannot invoice for services until completed. The MGI includes the date of completion on all invoices.
Invoices to WashU investigators are delivered through Workday. A valid cost-center is required.
Invoices to investigators outside of Washington University are delivered via email per the instructions on the provided Purchase Order. A valid PO is required before services can begin.
All pricing and quotations can be obtained by contacting the GTAC@MGI’s Project Development and Management team at gtacatmgiprojectdevelopment@gowustl.onmicrosoft.com.
